I would like to echo Sean’s sentiments and thank you for your kindness and compassion during this incredibly difficult week. We will love Heinze for eternity and our lives seem empty without him.
While I am not the English major that Sean is, I wrote the attached piece for the GSP Rescue of Southern California. The Rescue is going to publish this piece on its website. Sean also wrote an incredibly moving poem that highlights some of the endearing, funny moments we shared with our beloved Heinze.
We feel so lucky that Heinze received such stellar and compassionate care under your watchful eyes. We are grateful for the care Dr. G and Jonathan provided our Big Love over the years, too.

We wanted to take this opportunity to thank the entire staff at PCVH for saving our "son" Nash-
Back in July, Nash our 2 year old Black Lab, was hit by a car on the Ortega Hwy. After spending the night in the ER, and being devastated that Nash may not make it, I could not have been more happy to see the sun come up and the little guy still breathing. My only thought was to get him to my family friend Dr. Steve Sciabelli. As soon as I walked in the door, the staff at PCVH immediately took over, and
treated Nash like he was a long lost member of their own families.
It was touch and go with Nash, and he was in serious condition. He would require extensive skin grafts and the possibility that he may still lose one of his hind legs was still there. Dr. Steve and his staff took such great care of Nash, and even after seeing a specialist, Dr. Steve
was optomistic that Nash's leg could be saved. He not only calmed me down, he sent me home to Arizona so he and Dr. G could care for Nash without me showing up every day and standing over them.
It was tough to leave Nash, but Dr. Steve and Dr. G. personally called me regularly to give me updates on Nash's progress, and to make sure I was doing OK. When I called to check in, everyone raved about Nash and how much fun they were having with him.
Upon returning in September for a check up, not only did the entire staff remember Nash and love him when he walked in the door, Nash remembered them and loved them back.
It is now December and Nash's accident is but a distant memory. He has use of all four legs, his scars have all healed and he is running around like a deer.
THANK YOU from the bottom of our hearts to every member of the Team at PCVH. We are so truly impressed by each and every one of you for your caring and compassionate nature; your sincerity and unmatched professionalism. We may be over 300 miles away, but PCVH will be our home for Veterinary care for life!!!

In looking back over the last year and how important Veterinary Care has been for our three dogs, (Chancey, Oreo and Bailey) I simply wanted to stop and send a sincere Thank You to you personally, as well as every member of the staff at P.C.V.H.
I set out in late 2007 to find one Vet that understood a hunt-trained dog in the latter stages of her life. Our Brittany was a most beloved pet, and I knew she was aging. I needed advice and a good sounding board as she progressed through the latter stages of her life, and getting bounced from Dr. to Dr. at a large practice was becoming frustrating. We followed you from your last practice as you opened P.C.V.H., and even if it meant another 30 minutes of drive time, it was well worth it to us. We can never thank you enough for the kindness, support and understanding of our sadness as Chancey and Oreo both left us this past year. That was a hard thing to get over, and everyone at P.C.V.H. was just there for us.
A wise Vet once said to me "Finding talent in the pet industry is challenging, as we draw from a much smaller pool of people that both must love animals and be competent at running a business". We not only found a terrific pet/business relationship with you as an individual, Dr. Scibelli, we struck gold in meeting Dr. Gertmenian, Cathy, Hilary, Erik, Jonathan, Edith and Alicia. The recent addition of Tawni is the icing on the cake!
We would recommend your practice to everyone we know (and have). We hope your business grows and that you are incredibly successful for many, many years. Every visit has been exceptional, our pets and we have felt extremely well cared for.

"My husband and I originally met Dr. G when she was practicing at a local vetenarinary clinic. We immediately bonded with her but more importantly she immediately bonded with our pets; 2 dogs and 3 cats. Needless to say, we are animal lovers and our pets are a very important part of our lives.
Zeus, our very special black lab was diagnosed with a malignant tumor on his elbow. Dr. G performed the surgery. She is one of the kindest hearted persons I know on top of being an amazing vet. She cares deeply for her patients and their owners.
Shortly there after Dr. G left that practice. The staff was instructed not to tell anyone where she had gone. I was devastated. I searched the internet and resorted to calling 411 searching the local area for same names (obviously not a common name) to see if I could locate her.
Luckily I came across an ad in our community paper announcing the opening of Pacific Coast Vetinary Hospital. I was thrilled to learn Dr. G had gone to work for Dr. S in his new clinic.
Yes, it is a little further drive for me but worth every mile. The clinic, the staff, Dr. G and Dr. S are amazing.
I would not trust anyone else with my "babies". "
