Geriatric Medicine & Wellness

The medical needs for each patient are unique and vary with their risk factors (breed predispositions, age, environmental exposure, pre-existing medical history). Vaccination protocols, preventative annual blood and urine tests, and parasite prevention are some of the key elements of our preventative care programs. We offer progressive vaccination protocols. For example, we do not require certain vaccines to be given annually based on exposure risks and patient age. PCVH promotes modified annual screening tests for our young adult patients, and more extensive annual screening tests for seniors.
